Moccacinno, Vanilla Choc, Cookies and Cream, Triple choc, Jaffa cake, Neopolitan
I'm going to assume that the above picture has caught your eye and that I now have your full attention. Yes? Good...
A review of Ms Cupcake's delicious goods is long overdue. I've been meaning to get a post together for months but I always forget to take my camera with me and I always end up scoffing the cakes before I can take a decent picture. However, after being informed of bad news from Ms Cupcake herself I've made it my mission to get a decent post together.
I first visited Ms Cupcake at her Greenwich stall one weekend back in September/October last year. I'd heard great things from friends of mine and I had high expectations. One bite into the first cake and my mind was blown. They were far better than I could have ever imagined and I've been a fan ever since.
With over 90 different flavours, Ms Cupcake has got to be the best place to get your sweet fix in London...and the entire world! Obviously I won't name them all, but a few examples of her amazing flavours are:
- Strawberry Cheesecake
- Fruit and Nut
- Peanut Butter Chocolate
- Cherry Bakewell
- Mint Choc
- Key Lime
Irish Cream, Strawberry choc, Ferrero rocher, Pina Colada, Raspberry Ripple, Butterscotch
My personal favourites are Ferrero Rocher and Irish Cream, but there are so many flavours I need to try. Not only do they come in incredible flavours, but they look amazing too and are all decorated by hand. There are also plenty of choices for those with food intolerances as Ms Cupcake provides a good selection of gluten free cakes at all her stalls.

Now for the bad news. Ms Cupcake recently announced that she would no longer be able to trade at Greenwich Market at the weekends. All of the details are on her website here. This could not have come at a worse time as plans are currently going ahead for Ms Cupcake to open a brand spanking new vegan bakery in Brixton and her stall at Greenwich was incredibly popular at the weekends.
However, all is not lost! Ms Cupcake will now be opening a pop up stall outside her new shop every weekend until opening and will still be selling cakes at Brick Lane. Also, next week for Thursday the 10th March and Friday the 11th only, Ms Cupcake will be selling limited edition 'fair trade' cupcakes at the gift shop Fair Share in Soho.
So please, if you like your cake (which we all do...don't lie) and you're able to get down to one of Ms Cupcakes locations...go buy some cake! You will not regret it, the cakes are beautiful, delicious and the staff are fantastic. I spent a good 45 minutes chatting away to Ms Cupcake and Jayson today, they're lovely! You'll also be helping to contribute towards London's first ever vegan bakery! I'm so effing excited for it! There has been talk or doughnuts..cinnamon buns...and SAVOURY PIES!
Chocolate vanilla (I think? I got so many!) Cookies and cream, Jaffa cake and Neopolitan
Ms Cupcake also takes cake orders for birthdays, weddings, civil partnerships etc. I'm going to be making an order when my birthday comes around in April
Where can you find Ms Cupcake?

You can also follow Ms Cupcake on Facebook and Twitter. I also recommend following Jayson (who is often on the stalls) too, he's Vegan Bear on Twitter.
There is a petition going round to try and get Greenwich Market to change their minds and allow Ms Cupcake to continue trading at weekends. You can see more here and I urge you to sign it or get in touch with the Market if you're unhappy with this news. I know that I'm furious about it!
And finally, before anyone says it, I realise posting this review after my last entry makes it look like I've fallen off the wagon big time but I swear I've been 100% on plan this week and I will be donating most of these cakes to my friends...honestly!
